In-Person Courses

The Aramaic Studies is collaborating with Holy Martyrs Chaldean Catholic Church to offer online and In-Person Syriac (Chaldean, Assyrian) language and History & Culture courses for No College Credit. Graduates receive a Certificate of Course Completion from the Aramaic Studies.

In Fall of 2019, more than 40 registrants attends the In-Person class from age 14 and older.

During the pandemic, from May to September 2020, two online terms offered using Zoom. Each term (8 weeks) has two sessions:

  • Adults Beginners session for leaning the speaking part of the language, and
  • Adults Intermediate session to learn reading, writing, and speaking. (See Online section for all videos and lectures).

In summer of 2021, we back to In-Person classes to teach the language (read, write, and speak), and we are continuing offering one class at least every term for 10 weeks. See below for more details.
